Shillong, Feb 18: Jongksha SC came from behind to thrash Lumshyiap SC 5-2 in their Shillong Sports Association Second Division football match, here on Friday. Sparkle Khongshei opened the scoring for Jongksha in the 21st minute. The lead lasted for 7 minutes before Aldo Max Nongneng equalised for Lumshyiap in the 28th minute. Damanbha Kharthangmaw then helped Lumshyiap take the lead in the 31st minute. At the half-time mark, Lumshyiap was leading 2-1. At the hour mark, Bhabok Nongspung equalised for Jongksha. A minute later, Sparkle scored his second goal and helped Jongksha restore the lead. Two quick goals from Bhabok (81st) and Skhembor Myrthong (87th) put the game out of reach for Lumshyiap. On Saturday, Marbisu SC take on Mawryngkneng SC at 2:45 pm.
