Super Div Cricket: United XI beat NFU in first semi-final

SHILLONG, Feb 19: United XI registered a thrilling win against NFU, beating them in the super over of the Shillong Cricket Association Super Division match, here on Saturday. Earlier, United XI won the toss and chose to bat first, scoring 195/7 in the allotted 40 overs. Yogesh Kumar Tiwari scored 59 runs in 57 balls while Player-of-the-Match Jason J Lamare also scored 59 runs that came off 71 balls. Neetesh Sharma took 2/24 from his 8 overs. NFU were then bowled out for 195 in 40 overs, Asif Khan top-scoring with 63 runs off 94 balls. Jason was in the thick of action again, finishing with figures of 2/26 from 8 overs. United XI then won the match in Super Over.
