Conrad briefs NGOs on understandings arrived at in boundary talks with Assam

Shillong, Feb 23: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today held a meeting with the stakeholders to apprise them about the understanding that Meghalaya and Assam Government have arrived at on the boundary talks, especially in respect of the six areas of differences.

Speaking to media persons, leaders of different NGOs said there was a lack of clarity in the details given by the chief minister, adding that a committee of NGOs would be constituted to visit the six areas and review the situation themselves.
