NGO constituted
A new non-government organisation called All Meghalaya Assam Border Vigilance Committee has been constituted recently with its head office at Mendipathar, North Garo Hills. The newly elected office-bearers are George Sangma as chairman, Jangkal Marak as vice chairman, Cherian Momin as general secretary, Rangpin Arengh as additional general secretary, Cornel Sangma and Litus Sangma as public grievances and redressal secretary, Matgrik Momin, Dilcheng Momin, Baha Sangma and Nangrak Shira as organising secretaries, Mascren Marak & Lucksbirth Marak as publicity secretary besides other members.
