SHILLONG, Feb 26: The State Council of Science, Technology and Environment (SCSTE), Meghalaya, in collaboration with the Shillong Science Centre, will celebrate National Science Day on Monday by holding a slew of programmes, at All Saints Hall, Shillong.
According to a statement, as part of the National Science Day celebration, a science and technology exhibition will be organised, which will be participated by University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya, National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya, College of Post Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences, Umiam, Bio-Resources Development Centre, Upper Shillong, et al.
“The felicitation of meritorious students who secured highest marks in Mathematics and Science in the MBOSE’s SSLC and HSSLC examinations, 2021, will also be organised during the programme,” the statement said.
“This NSD celebration will also mark the culmination of the Weeklong Festival of Science Communication Popularisation & its Extension (SCoPE) organised by SCSTE in partnership with Vigyan Prasar,” it added.
