1st Div Cricket: Warriors beat Occult CC by 24 runs

SHILLONG, March 3: Khalsa Warrios registered a 24-run victory over Occult CC in their Shillong Cricket Association First Division match, here on Thursday. Batting first after winning the toss, Khalsa Warriors were dismissed for 138 in 2 overs. Player-of-the-Match Sandeep Singh (49) missed out narrowly on a half century while Kushaldeep Singh contributed 39 runs off 50 balls. Rohit bowled a superb spell to finish with figures of 6/28 from his 7 overs. However, his efforts were in vain as Occult could only get to 114 before being bowled out in 32 overs, to lose by 24 runs. Avinash Rai scored 30 runs. Akash took 4/31 in his 7 overs while Rahul was economical, claiming figures of 3/16 from his 7overs.
