29 students from M’laya return to India

SHILLONG, March 3: Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma on Thursday said 29 students from Meghalaya have reached India safely from war-torn Ukraine.
Sangma told reporters that 11 more students have reached safer countries and will be flown back to the country shortly. In addition, two students were poised to cross the Ukrainian border.
The CM said they were getting regular updates on the movement of students from Meghalaya stranded in Ukraine.
Sangma also said that the state government was in touch with the Ministry of External Affairs to ensure the safe return of all the students from Ukraine.
