Cong discusses suspension of party leader

SHILLONG, March 3: The leaders of Rambrai Block Congress Committee on Thursday met MPCC working president, Pynshngain N Syiem to discuss the suspension of the party MLA of Rambrai-Jyrngam constituency, Kimfa S Marbaniang for anti-party activities.
The committee leaders during the meeting had sought clarification as to the reasons which have led to the Kimfa’s suspension.  The leaders of the RBCC who met MPCC working president include party MDC from the constituency, Bajop Pyngrope, working president, A. Lyngdoh, Ramrai Mahila Congress Committee president, Bertila Dkhar and Ramrai IYC Assembly Committee secretary, Kitborlang Lyngdoh.
Meanwhile, Syiem said that the MPCC will continue to discuss with the party supporters of the constituency in order to resolve the matter to ensure that the party leadership, BCC and MLA continues to work together for strengthening of the party.
