SHILLONG, March 5: The Border Security Force’s (BSF) rebuttal to the allegations levelled by the Meghalaya International Exporters Chamber of Commerce (MIECC), that the force was interfering in the export and import activities at the Land Custom Station (LCS) in Dawki, has been condemned by the MIECC.
Demanding an enquiry in the matter, the exporters’ body, in a statement, said that it stands by the charges put on BSF of interfering in the LCS activities.
The MIECC has claimed that the BSF is no longer performing custom duties after it the organisation took necessary action.
