Meghalaya golfers shine in Assam Golf Championship

SHILLONG, March 13: Meghalaya’s team of Anil Pargal, Jonathan Iawphniaw and Jason Passah had a good outing in the 44th All Assam Invitational Golf Championship 2022 held at the Digboi Golf Club, in Digboi, Assam bringing laurels to the state. In the championship held on March 12 and 13, Pargal was declared Best Gross Day 1 winner while Iawphniaw bagged the Best Gross Day 2 honours. Meanwhile, Passah won Best Stableford on Day 1. Aside from the three golfers, Meghalaya was also represented by Dilip Bora and popular local golfer, Gaurav Bajaj.
