Basanta Utsav
A programme will be organised at 8 am on Friday at Brookside Rilbong to commemorate Basanta Utsav during which tributes will be paid to Rabindranath Tagore. A statement in this regard has asked people to be part of the programme with adherence to COVID-19 protocols.

Training prog
In an effort to introduce quality classroom experience and improve teaching-learning practices, a teachers’ training programme was organised at Government Girls Higher Secondary School by Meghalshala Trust, a Bangalore-based organisation, in collaboration with the State Education department. Lenovo tabs were distributed to teachers in as many as 20 government schools in East Khasi Hills to encourage smart classroom. Altogether, 36 teachers from 20 schools attended the training.

Dak Adalat
A circle-level Dak Adalat will be organised at the Office of the Chief Postmaster General, North East Circle, Shillong, on Thursday at 11 am. A statement in this regard informed that the Dak Adalat will entertain grievances pertaining to postal services for their redressal.
