Shillong, March 21: President Ram Nath Kovind today presented Padma Shri award to Prof. (Ms) Badaplin War from Meghalaya for Literature and Education.
She is a Professor in the Department of Khasi, NEHU. She is an expert on Khasi linguistics, literature, culture and translation.
