SHILLONG, March 23: Five-time MLA from Pynthorumkhrah, AL Hek, who is set to lock horns with Congress leader PN Syiem in the 2023 showdown, has asserted that he will not take the fight easy.
“Elections cannot be taken easily and the way I have contested and won the election since last five terms, I will work hard in the same to ensure that I come back,” Hek said.
It may be mentioned that both the leaders have already started their campaign in the constituency albeit on a smaller scale. On being asked if anti-incumbency factor will pose challenges for Hek, the legislator said that it is a routine matter which was prevalent every time he contested.
