SHILLONG, March 27: The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president, Vincent H Pala, has appointed retired Superintendent of Professional Tax in the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), Mawshan Sing Giri Hynniewta, as the ad hoc president of the Mawlai Block Congress Committee (MBCC).
Following this, the MBCC will formally receive former FKJGP leader, Marbud Dkhar, into the party fold in a meeting to be held at Mawlai Mawdatbaki indoor stadium. The MPCC president will also be present during the meeting scheduled for Monday.
