Chuba Ao finds Centre’s AFSPA move courageous

SHILLONG, April 2: The BJP Meghalaya in-charge, M Chuba Ao, has termed Centre’s decision to curtail AFSPA in different states of North East as courageous.
Ao feels that the decision will further strengthen peace and development in the Northeastern region from many areas.
“No other party has ever shown such political will for the good of the people since 195,” he said.
According to Ao, the move will usher in a new era of peace and stability in the Northeastern region.
