House gutted in fire

NONGSTOIN: A house was gutted into fire on Saturday at 4:00PM at Mawthungkper village in West Khasi Hills.   The house belongs to Spilin Kharbani and a resident of Mawthungkper village.   The incident occurred when both the parents were going to work and their children were not at home.   It was confirmed that there was no one in the House during the incident since no one was at home.     The victim did not recover even a cloth to wear during the fire incident.   It was said that the cause of the fire incident was suspected to be due to an electric short circuit and the total cost of the fire incident was uet to ascertain  but it was estimated that the cost has cross even 7 lakh of rupees.
