SHILLONG, April 4: Nongthymmai SC struck twice in the second half to notch up a 2-0 victory over neighbours Nongrim Hills in their Shillong Sports Association First Division football match, here on Monday. Following a goalless first half, Nongthymmai broke the deadlock two minutes after the restart with Humble Syiem finding the back of the nets. The in the 61st minute, Mat Makri made it 2-0 for Nongthymmai to finish on top. Nongthymmai lead the points table with two wins from two games, making them the first team from the division to win two matches this season.
