SHILLONG, April 7: Acting on the stay order of the High Court of Meghalaya, the state Public Service Commission on Thursday cancelled all interviews and recruitments till further notice.
In a notification, the MPSC said that in view of the Meghalaya High Court order all interviews and recruitment stands suspended with immediate effect until further orders.
A two-judge bench of the High Court on Tuesday put on hold all recruitment processes since the state government does not have a roster system. The bench said the recruitment process can start only when the state has the roster system in place to adhere to the reservation policy of the state.
