SHILLONG, May 2: The final of the state-level Drawing and Essay competition will be conducted at the Conference Hall of the Shillong College from 10 onwards on Wednesday, the State Council of Science, Technology & Environment said in a statement issued here, adding that the best 80 selected participants from various parts of the state will be competing in the final.
This competition is being organised as part of the North East Festival 2022 by the Ministry of DoNER in collaboration with State Council of Science, Technology & Environment and Shillong College as local partners.
Earlier, the prelims were conducted for selection of the best 40 contestants in each category.
The theme of the essay competition is “The role of youth in the development of Meghalaya” and the Drawing competition is “Climate Change”.
The results will be announced on the same day.
