Consultation
NITI Aayog in collaboration with USAID, PSI- SAMAGRA and Office of the East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner organised a city consultation with stakeholders working in the health and urban management sectors in Shillong on Wednesday. According to a statement, the programme, which was held at Pinewood Hotel, was aimed at discussing the bottlenecks and opportunities in the governance of urban health systems. The programme was attended by Secretary of Health and Family Welfare department, RM Kurbah, East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner, Isawanda Laloo, and health officials and representatives from different government departments.
