Inspection in Cantt areas

SHILLONG, May 8: A meeting-cum-joint inspection was conducted in Cantonment areas in Dhobitala Jhalupara are and Paltan Bazar for speedy implementation and completion of the ongoing construction of playfield and Children Greenery Park at Dhobitala, Jhalupara, and the ongoing construction of public toilet/urinal and bathroom facilities including renovation and beautification of Children Greenery Park at Paltan Bazar, a statement issued here informed.
The inspection was led by South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai and attended by Headman of Jhalupara Village Council, Mohan Limbu, Headman of Paltan Bazar Village Council, Lamki Kyndiah, members of the two village councils, officials of Shillong Cantonment Board and residents of the areas.
The total cost of the ongoing developmental schemes is Rs 40 lakh sanctioned under AMRUT Scheme and SUWP Scheme 2021-22.
