Man jumps into Wards Lake, dies

SHILLONG, May 10: A man on Tuesday died by suicide by jumping into the Wards Lake.
According to the police, the incident occurred at 7 am.
Meanwhile, the body of the victim, following the retrieval, has been kept at Shillong Civil Hospital morgue for identification and claim.
According to the police, the man was aged between 40 and 45 years and is approximately 157 cm tall. He has a medium build, the shape of his face is round, his complexion is swarthy, his hair colour is black and he is bald on his forehead.
He also had a thin facial hair, long nose and black eyes.
