Bangladeshi national apprehended
Coy Commander, D-Coy, 193rd Battalion, Border Security Force (BSF) BOP Sonatola lodged a complaint that on May 22, around 7 pm, BSF personnel on duty apprehended one Bangladeshi national viz., Md Sujon Ahmed (20) and an Indian national Md Sukurie (22) who was helping the aforesaid Bangladeshi national to cross the Indo-Bangladesh border fencing near SPB Nongrianala in East Khasi Hills.

Cattle found
Coy Commander, 4th Battalion, Border Security Force (BSF) BOP Dawki, West Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on May 22, around 5 am, BSF personnel on duty detected one head of cattle (buffalo) left abandoned by suspected smugglers near BP No. 1277/4-S.

Theft
Deviona Warjri lodged a complaint that on May 23, around 11.30 am, a miscreant stole her bag containing Rs 90,000 in cash and a mobile phone from her shop at Iewduh, Shillong, East Khasi Hills.
Medical Superintendent of Ganesh Das Hospital, Shillong, has lodged a complaint that on May 21, unknown miscreant(s) stole water taps, sterilizers and needle destroyer from the hospital.
