Training
The State Council of Science, Technology & Environment, Meghalaya, is organising a two-day Master Resource Training programme for selected teachers from different districts of Khasi and Garo Hills as part of the National Children’s Science Congress 2022. The training will be held separately for Khasi and Garo Hills region, according to a statement issued here. For Khasi Hills region, the training will be held on May 26 and 27 at TOILS, Mawroh, while the training for Garo Hills region will be held on June 14 and 15 at SMELC, Tura. The ‘Focal Theme’ for this year’s event is ‘Understanding Ecosystem for Health and Wellbeing’.

Conference
The Meghalaya Medical Services Association will hold its 22nd Scientific Conference-cum-General Body Meeting on May 27 and 28 at the State Convention Centre, Shillong. According to a statement, the conference will be inaugurated by Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh. The conference will also be attended by Health Minister James Sangma as well as eminent speakers from Meghalaya and outside.

Participation
Meghalaya will participate in various disciplines at the Khelo India Youth Games 2021-22, which will be held in Panchkula, Haryana, from June 4 to 13. Informing this, the Assistant Director of Sports and Youth Affairs said that the send-off programme for the state contingent will be held at 4 pm on May 27 at SAI, Football Ground, NEHU Campus, Shillong.
