SHILLONG, May 30: Troubles seem to be far from over for the jinxed inter-state bus terminus (ISBT) at Mawiong with lack of water in the toilets hitting passengers hard.
Complaint about lack of water in the toilets is just one more addition to the growing list of problems afflicting the recently-inaugurated IBST.
Some passengers complained about the poor condition of the toilets which are not cleaned, an allegation verified and found to be true by The Shillong Times.
A source revealed that toilets were being cleaned regularly in the initial days and people were being charged for using them.
Officials of the Meghalaya Transport Corporation, which is responsible for the upkeep of the ISBT, were not available for their comments on the matter.
