City localities report power outages

SHILLONG, June 17: Many localities in Shillong and other parts of the state were without power supply for more than 12 hours.
The power supply went off at around 12 am on Thursday night only to be restored on Friday evening.
An official at the Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeECL) informed that although there are number of power outages being reported across the state, the field officials and staff are on the job to restore the same.
