Hall inaugurated at city hospital

SHILLONG, June 22: A renovated hall at Dr H Gordon Roberts Hospital Jaiaw was on Wednesday inaugurated by Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council CEM Titosstarwell Chyne and founder trustee of KTIEW EMS TRUST London, Michael Kharsyntiew.
The total cost of the project cost, which is Rs 20 lakh, was jointly funded by the KTIEW EMS TRUST London and Hospital General Fund.
Speaking on the occasion, Kharsyntiew reminded the hospital governing body of the many contributions made by the trust amounting over the past five years.
He also reiterated the remarkable contributions made by missionaries, churches from all over the state for healthcare and education.
As ordinary well wishers, he said that people should be inspired to contribute for healthcare and education in any capacity irrespective of one’s background
