Meghalaya sees growth in GST earnings in June

SHILLONG, July 1: Meghalaya saw a growth of 46 per cent in its GST revenue in June 2022.
While in June 2021, Meghalaya generated GST revenue of Rs 105 crore, a year later, Meghalaya saw 46 per cent rise by generating GST revenue of Rs 153 crore.
Meanwhile, India’s GST collections in June witnessed a 56 per cent year-on-year rise to over Rs 1.44 lakh crore.
The gross GST collection in June is the second-highest collection after April when it was about Rs 1.68 lakh crore.
