WGH road mishap leaves four hurt

SHILLONG, July 2: Four people, including two BSF personnel, on Saturday sustained minor injuries after a BSF truck met with an accident in Tura, damaging six light motor vehicles (LMVs).
West Garo Hills Superintendant of Police Vivekanand Singh said that the incident happened at around 11:30 am when a BSF truck (AS-01-KC-1775), belonging to 181 Battalion, met with an accident at Nakham Bazar, Tura.
Albeit the reason for the accident has been prima facie attributed to brake failure, an MV inspection will be conducted to ascertain the actual cause of the accident.
An FIR in this regard has also been registered at Tura Police Station.
