Laban assault: Police scan CCTV footage

SHILLONG, July 9: Meghalaya Director General of Police (DGP) LR Bishnoi on Saturday said that the police are scanning the CCTV footage to nab the perpetrators of another assault in the city, which occurred here on Friday.
One Anupam Dey was assaulted by around 20 boys who came in cars, motorbikes and scooties.
The DGP said that no arrest has been made so far in this connection.
According to the police, the incident happened around 4 pm near SBI Last bus stop way leading to Batti Bazar, Laban.
The victim sustained injuries and was sent for medical examination and very soon discharged after first-aid.
