SHILLONG, July 23: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Educational Welfare Society has announced ‘Bright Student Award’ and scholarships for students between classes 4 and 12, including the ones who will appear for board examinations next year.
A statement in this regard informed that the scholarships and awards will be conferred based on a written test.
“The test will consist of 100 objective-type questions in Mathematics and Science, based on the Standards for ICSE, CBSE, and state boards in English,” it said.
Students have been asked to visit www.apjedu2001.com for registration, and the last date for the same is August 5.
“The aim of the All India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Bright Student Award and Scholarship is to identify the upcoming talent from rural and urban parts,” the statement said.
