Govt launches bike rental services

SHILLONG, July 26: In a bid to promote tourism in Meghalaya, the state government has launched bike rental services for enthusiastic riders from around the world who wish to explore Meghalaya and Northeast on two-wheelers. Commissioner & Secretary of Tourism department Dr Vijay Kumar launched the services at Shillong Heritage Nook.
The Green Route Tours, with the cooperation of Meghalaya Tourism and the Tour Operators Association of Meghalaya, have also started motorcycle tours and trips under the banner of Meghalaya Tourism Adventure Tours.
