KHLIEHRIAT, July 28: World Hepatitis Day, thematised on “Bringing Care Closer to You— Hepatitis Can’t Wait”, was on Thursday observed at OST Centre, Khliehriat Civil Hospital, East Jaintia Hills.
The programme was organised by the Office of the District Medical and Health Officer, East Jaintia Hills, and was attended by health officials from the district, who apprised the gathering of the causes, types, risks and treatments of Hepatitis.
