Cristiano Ronaldo
The Portuguese has indicated he will feature in Manchester United’s friendly with Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford on Sunday amid ongoing speculation over his future with the English giants. Commenting on a post by a Ronaldo fan page about him missing the game in Norway, Ronaldo wrote Friday: “Domingo o rei joga” which translates as “Sunday the king plays”. Erik ten Hag, the new United manager, insisted earlier this month that Ronaldo was “not for sale”.
Benjamin Sesko
Manchester United are preparing to launch an official bid for Benjamin Sesko. While RB Salzburg are hoping to have Sesko lead the line for them this season following the departure of Karim Adeyemi to Borussia Dortmund, reports indicate that a bid in the region of £55 million would be too good to turn down.
Cesare Casadei
Chelsea have made an enquiry for Inter Milan midfielder Cesare Casadei, 19, as they continue talks with the Italians over defensive options too.
While yet to make his Serie A debut, Inter will let Casadei go if the Blues offer €10million.
Benjamin Pavard
Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard 26, has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this week. The Bundesliga giants are expected to consider bids in the region of £30 million for him, but Chelsea are also considering other defensive options beyond Pavard.
James Maddison
Newcastle have launched a move for Leicester star James Maddison. Newcastle have submitted a £40 million bid for the midfielder on Friday, but saw that rejected by the Foxes. Howe is now mulling making an improved offer.
Memphis Depay
Juventus have reportedly held talks with Barcelona over a potential move for Memphis Depay. Depay is set to see his game time at Barca drastically cut following the arrival of Robert Lewandowski. Also, with Barcelona needing to raise funds, he could be on his way out of the Nou Camp.
Orel Mangala
Nottingham Forest on Sunday signed Belgium international midfielder Orel Mangala from German Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart. The 24-year-old penned a long-term contract at The City Ground after The Reds agreed an undisclosed fee with Stuttgart.
