SHILLONG, Aug 4: State BJP vice president Bernard Marak will once again be produced in Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court on Friday.
The eight-day custody of Marak will be completed on Friday, and Tura Police is likely to seek an extension of his custody from the Court.
Tura MDC and former militant chief Bernard (Rimpu) Marak was sent to police custody for a period of eight days following a marathon hearing at the Court of the CJM in Tura last month.
Marak was arrested from Uttar Pradesh after he had allegedly absconded.
