SHILLONG, Sep 2: Police have filed the charge sheet in the case related to murder of two minors at Wahktieh, Nongrah Nonglum on May 30.
A senior police official on Friday said the charge sheet, filed on August 27, has named the father, Joefreeson Jana, as the lone accused in the crime.
“We have managed to build a very strong case. Investigation team has collected and documented ample evidence,” the official said.
He said that the court will now fix the date for the trial.
