Workshop on NEP in college education

NONGSTOIN, Sep 11: A seminar-cum-workshop was organised by the Education Department of Nongstoin College in collaboration with the Department of Education, North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Tura Campus on ‘Strategies to Implement NEP 2020 in College Education: It’s Perspective and Concern’, on Sunday.
Resource persons — RJ Yadav, former Dean, and JU Ahmed and SC Subudhi both faculty of Education Department — highlighted different facets of the topic. Around 60 teachers from different colleges participated in the seminar.
Nongstoin MLA M Byrsat was the chief guest of the closing function of the seminar. He distributed certificates to the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Byrsat said that the seminar-cum-workshop was informative and helped the teachers gain clear insights on the intent of the New Education Policy (NEP).
