Meghalaya Firemen shine in all India sports event

Shillong, Sep 22: After winning the Silver Medal in the 1500 mt event earlier in the day, leading Fireman Badon SIing Tham of Sohra Fire Station went on to win the Gold Medal in the 5000 mt event on the same day at the 1st All India Fire Service Sports and Fire Meet, 2022 being held at Delhi from Sep 22 to 24.

This was followed by leading Fireman Baniaikyrsoi Khongwir of Upper Shillong Fire Station winning the Gold Medal in Arm Wrestling in the 90 Kg category.
