Inter-school Science seminar held in city

SHILLONG, Sep 22: As part of its ongoing centenary celebrations, Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School organised the 17th Inter-school Science Seminar (Junior/Senior), which was participated by 14 schools.
According to a statement, in the junior category, Shubhojit Dey of Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School bagged the Champion’s Trophy while the first and second runners-up trophies were secured by Lana Ika Rymbai of Ramakrishna Mission Higher Secondary School, Sohra, and Ankita Das of Lumparing Vidyapith Secondary School respectively.
In the senior category, the Champion’s Trophy was bagged by Vanessa Dolly Sohkhlet of Ramakrishna Mission Higher Secondary School, Sohra, and the trophies for first and second runners-up were given away to Abhijit Deb of Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School and Vishal Barman of Gorkha Pathshala Higher Secondary School respectively.
