RSS chief to arrive in state today

SHILLONG, Sep 23: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat will arrive in the state on Saturday for a two-day tour.
His visit, according to the RSS, is part of routine visit to different states of India. It is however said that Bhagwat is visiting Meghalaya after a long gap.
During this trip, Mohan Bhagwat will interact with the state’s RSS functionaries and well-wishers and discuss the present development of the organisation.
The RSS chief will also deliver a lecture in Shillong to a gathering of prominent personalities from different walks of life and touch upon important issues like environment protection, village upliftment and will stress upon the values of family, society as well as the nation.
