No influence of money during Assembly polls: Malngiang

SHILLONG, Oct 6: Nongkrem MLA Lambor Malngiang has ruled out influence of money in the constituency during the upcoming Assembly elections.
Speaking to media persons here, Malngiang said that elections are not about using money to influence voters.
The sitting independent MLA also made it clear that he intends to contest the upcoming elections on a UDP ticket from Nongkrem constituency even though party veteran Bindo M Lanong had expressed a similar desire.
It may be mentioned that Mawhati MLA Dasakhiatbha Lamare had also announced of contesting from Nongkrem.
