SHILLONG, Oct 9: In what can be termed distasteful, it has come light that some miscreants recently defaced walls in Jail Road locality here with expletives against police and non-tribal communities.
According to the police, the defaced walls were discovered on October 6
Police said that these defaced walls were seen on October 6 and effaced later. Police have not registered a case on the matter.
One Michael Kharsyntiew, who also noticed the blemished walls, erased the writings with the help of a relative.
“Action speaks louder. Spread love not hate. We are all Indians living together in the spirit of brotherhood,” he said.
