Tura, Oct 11: Illegal timber being loaded onto a truck near Riangdoh in West Khasi Hills. The open loot of natural resources of the state apparently took place near the petrol pump before entering the route to Riangdoh.
The smuggled timber is allegedly destined to the industrial hub of Byrnihat in Ri Bhoi district.
