Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

Nongthymmai Sports & Cultural Club resumed its Platinum Jubilee Celebrations on Saturday by organising a football tournament at Nongthymmai Playground. In the first match, Umpling’s women’s team defeated Nongkhyriem women 4-0. Daphishisha Marthong (2) Quinie Nongrum (1) and Daisy Sohtun (1) were the scorers. In the men’s match, Nongkhyriem-C triumphed over Nongkhyriem-A 2-1. Rodrick Kharmujai and Banshan Ramsiej were the goal scorers for Nongkhyriem-C, while Ban Syiemlieh scored Nongkhyriem-A’s lone goal.
