SHILLONG, Oct 17: HSPDP legislator from Sohiong, Samlin Malngiang on Monday stated that he is yet to receive any show-cause notice from the party questioning his political future.
HSPDP president KP Pangniang had earlier said Malngiang has not responded to the notice. “This is an indication that he is not keen to contest from the party again,” Pangniang said.
Reacting to this, Malngiang said he is yet to receive any show-cause notice as claimed by the party president. “I will definitely respond if I receive it,” he said.
When asked about this political future, he said he is yet to decide since he is still holding discussions with his supporters. “I will decide on my political future at an appropriate time,” Malngiang said, refusing to say if he will contest for the HSPDP again.
