Cattle recovered
Company Commander, D-Coy, 28 Bn., BSF, informed police that on November 1 around 3 am, BSF personnel on duty noticed suspicious movement along the Indo-Bangladesh border at Gujangpara, South West Garo Hills. The BSF personnel later recovered two heads of cattle abandoned by the suspected smuggler(s) from the PO.
Break-in
Branch Manager of Meghalaya Rural Bank, Chutwakhu Jowai, West Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on November 1, unknown miscreant(s) broke into the premises of the bank and damaged the lock of the main door.
Billal Sk of Babupara, New Bhaitbari, West Garo Hills, lodged complaint that on October 31 around 5 pm, he discerned that unknown miscreants broke into his house and stole cash, valuable items, etc.
Theft
Premnath Thakur of Polo, Shillong, lodged a complaint on November 1 that on September 19, unknown miscreant(s) stole his Xerox machine, UPS, CPU and valuable documents.
