Cleaning drive
The Dorbar of Hima Mylliem will conduct a cleaning drive at Iewduh from 9 am on Friday. In this regard, the office of the Syiem Hima Mylliem and Durbar has informed that Iewduh will remain closed on the aforesaid day for the smooth conduct of the cleaning drive.

Programme
The National Commission for Women in collaboration with State Institute of Rural Development, Meghalaya, will organise a programme ‘She is a Changemaker’ from November 16 to 18 at Extension Training Centre, Tura, West Garo Hills. A statement in this regard informed that the programme is being organised to highlight the efforts of women in Meghalaya and their contribution towards social, political and economical changes.

Unclaimed body
A body of an unidentified man was on October 24 found lyingat Thembasuk, Madanriting, Shillong. Subsequently, inquest, post-mortem and other legal formalities were observed. Following the autopsy, the body has been kept at the morgue of NEIGRIHMS for identification and claim. A statement in this regard informed that the deceased is approximately 40-45 years old, weighs approximately 55 kg, is 155 cm tall and was found wearing a red T-shirt, grey hoodie, a green pair of trousers and blue short pants. Meanwhile, all concerned have been asked to contact 03642231408 or 03642222214 for identification and claim of the body.

Book launch
A book on Swami Vivekananda Swami Vivekananda and Shillong by Malabika Bisharad will be released at the Press Club Shillong at 1 pm on November 17. This is for the first time a book on Swami Vivekananda and Shillong is going to be released.

The Sub-Divisional Officer (Election) of Dadenggre Civil Subdivision has informed that the publication of the Draft Photo Electoral Rolls have been prepared in connection with Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls with reference to January 1, 2023, as the qualifying date.
