SHILLONG, Nov 16: Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong took a potshot at former chief minister Mukul Sangma for blaming the government for taking credit for the five-star Vivanta Meghalaya (Crowborough) by questioning the latter for not being able to complete the hotel in the eight years he was at the helm of affairs.
According to Tynsong, Conrad Sangma did what his predecessor (Mukul) could not do in eight years.
Asserting that the Marriott Hotel in Jail Road would be completed next month, Tynsong said, “Let him say whatever he wants but this is the only government that has completed all the incomplete schemes.”
The former CM had slammed the incumbent government for taking credit for schemes rolled out during his tenure.
