PWD official’s vehicle meets with accident

NONGSTOIN, Nov 21: A government vehicle (ML 01 A 0047) carrying three occupants which included Chief Engineer, National Highway, PWD (Roads), Gromingko K Marak (57), his son Aiso Rangbildi B Sangma (21) and the son’s friend Joshwa Buhril (20) of Sabdarjang enclave New Delhi, met with an accident in Langumshing village, West Khasi Hills.
Two of the occupants sustained minor injuries but the PWD official’s son had to be shifted to Shillong for further medical attention, according to West Khasi Hills Police.
The three of them were on the Shallang-Nongstoin highway and proceeding towards Shillong, East Khasi Hills, from Tura, West Garo Hills, when the vehicle collided with a guard wall.
They were initially taken to Riangdo Community and Health Centre.
