HC asks govt for case diary, status of probe

SHILLONG, Dec 5: The High Court of Meghalaya has asked the state government to obtain the status of investigation and produce the case diary on the next date of hearing in the alleged vehicle scam involving the then Assistant Inspector-General (Administration) Gabriel K Iangrai.
Iangrai’s family has moved the High Court seeking his bail.
The court in its order on Monday directed Assistant Attorney General ND Chullai, who represented the state government, to obtain the status of investigation and to produce the case diary on the next date of hearing on Wednesday.
